Monday Movies and Synchronicity

As you probably all both know, I can never keep up to date with all my adoring fans' two readers' blogs because I have far too many in my Bloglines, but I can't bear to delete any coz I love you all! So I kind of stick a proverbial pin in the list (after, hopefully, I have visited all who have kindly left comments for me) and one of those tonight was A Dog and 2 Cats. This is where the synchronicity (or possibly just coincidence) comes in and I think the best way I can demonstrate this is simply to quote the (first) comment I left for them:

"Hello! I clicked your link to watch the squirrel video and got this: http://www.http.com//www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ikH9ZRcF2Q.
There was a certain synchronicity here as Pinky and I have been looking into waking up our computers over our networks and over the internet when we're not at home, so I clicked on the last link in the list and got this:
https://www.gotomypc.com/mm/g25af_hybridLMlp.tmpl?
In fact Pinky installed stuff on my laptop to enable me to wake up my pc from my laptop today. We tested it several times and it worked perfectly. However, since he went home it hasn't worked! Doh!*
I haven't seen any squerls either, haha!
BTW, the wordy verification thingy is "ulegral". Could this be interpreted as "You all growl"? Oh, I crack myself up!!! :) xxx"

*The boldifying and redenning were not in the original comment but I've now added them to draw Pinky's attention!

Anyhow, I was curious about the squirrels so I went back to YouTube. There are loads of squirrel videos but I came across this one which I think is pretty amazing - and cute!

So then I noticed I had email and my Dad had sent me this:

Okay, okay, I know the "synchronicity" came before the movies but I didn't think that "Synchroniscity and Movie Monday" really worked!

xxx

P.S. If you use Firefox, don't use its spell-checker. It will totally screw your post!!!

That mamakitty sure is being good to take care of that squirrel when she has so many babies of her own.

Ha ha ha ha, that was a riot! We liked the squirrel video too.

Mom likes the name Cybil but the new kid didn't seem to respond to it. So the name wait continues...which means we have to listen to my mom in her high-pitched Universal Cat Voice go "Hi, honey" 90 million times.

Oh goodness, does this mean I'll have baby squirrels to nurse too?! You see we've just got our first garden squirrel after years of wanting one (so we've been making Mummy buy it peanuts and yummy seeds), but there's every chance that I'll have kittens in the new year and now I'll have to nurse the squirrels too I'm starting to worry about it all. You see my brother is a very good kitten Uncle, but just loves to bunny kick his catnip squirrel to bits - as does our housemate Tigmut'hep! It's all very worrying you know...

I feel duty bound to say that it isn't my fault the 'Wake on Lan' ceased to work for a short while. As your owners will know, computers have a mind of their own and I'm pleased to tell you that WOL is now working on BC's system which is a great relief as it saves BC the onerous task of having to go up at least 14 steps to the small bedroom (computer room?) and expend excessive energy pushing the on button on her tower computer. I'm all in favour in looking after the older (less able) generation so may I claim my 'brownie points' please?

BC is giving me great encouragement to have a (rescue) cat to look after me and as my house is now 'cat friendly' there's a fair possibility it will happen in the new year after my trip to Portugal.

Being a 'computer geek' and having the power of the Internet and Google at my fingertips I've now worked out why BC is giving me such encouragement. BC wants a feline to adopt me and encourage me to make many trips worldwide so she is able to 'cat sit' for me. Oh well, no pain no gain.

Yes, everything is INDIAN! Mummy cats sometimes know no bounds to their love and this Mummy cat is a darling to take on the baby squirrel.

Have a great weekend

I love the video of the mom cat taking care of the baby squirrels. The Indian video was very funny. I am glad that your computer is working right again.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and I hope you come back for a visit.

I know this may take a miracle because you have so many blogs to read, but I keep my paws crossed that you return.

The squirrel video is cute but I still want to chase them. All in good fun, of course.

Paws 'n Claws,
Rupert
