The One with No Title (coz I can't think of one!)

Look at these fab pictures that Maggy, Zoey and their bean Ann at Zoolatry made for me. I was so surprised and thrilled! The arrangement of the first one is very special to me - I think they must have got into my head because not only does it show my three darling furbabies (sadly, for me at least, though hopefully not for them, all at the Rainbow Bridge) but my floof-head tiger Wigger, who has been with me since I was 5 years old, and the teddy that my lovely Mum bought for me not long before she went to the Bridge.

The second one absolutely encapsulates Ollie's inquisitive and fun-loving nature, though he could also be very dignified and regal, as I think his image top left shows.

Thank you so much to all who asked about my M.R.I. scan. I haven't got a copy of my own scan but I found this video on YouTube:

I expect most of you know what they look like. Anyhoo, when I went for my botox-type injection last Monday my Consultant said there were some anomalies on my scan. I found a still photo on t'innernets so I've tried to make a graphic of what she found. There are whitish blobs in mine brain. HALP!!! You can see roughly what they look like (round the central red four-headed arrow). She said she thought they are small blood vessels which have fused (ischaemia?) and doesn't think they indicate anything serious or sinister but as they weren't there on my previous scan she is referring me to a neurologist to be on the safe side. The waiting time is currently up to fourteen weeks so if any neurologists are reading this, please let me know if you have any idea what's wrong with me!

As far as the botox stuff is concerned (I think it's called Botulinum toxin or something) this is injected into the eye muscle which is causing the problem to paralise it in a position in the opposite direction, so that as the toxin gradually wears off, hopefully an optimum position where the eyes will come into sync will occur and can be fixed there. Whether this would be by another operation or further toxin injections I don't yet know. Anyhoo, this has caused me huge problems in getting out and about but I mustn't grumble coz it's all in a good cause.

Before toxin injection:

After toxin injection:

This is my TV, which sits to the left of my...

...fireplace

This is a rough representation of what I see if I try to watch the telly with both eyes open. I see the mantelpiece as well as the rest of the fireplace but I couldn't be a***d to go upstairs and get the camera to take another photo of the fireplace. Both photos were taken on different days at different times too, which doesn't help, lol!

Finally for now, Pinky emailed me:

"Saw your latest blog and as you seem to have a penchant for photographing food and I didn't want to be left out, here's a photo of my evening meal."

Chicken salad.

Yummy! I hope it was free-range chicken Pinky!

Have a great week efurycat:) xxx

Neat graphics!

I hope you get good news from your follow up to the scan. Maybe those are just cat memories in your brain. You'd probably want those.

Eek! I sure hope your brain scan goes OK I know waiting for doctors is hard because you just obsess. My Tall Man sees out of both eyes- he had crossed eyes as a baby and surgery to fix them so he can turn one on and off kind of thing.

Yay, I am going to be able to comment today! I have tried previously but just could not get my puter to co-operate!

Thank you for stopping by and commenting.

Sending you our best on your results from your scan and future visits. It seems like after receiving frightening news, the medical profession never realizes how distressing the wait for answers and follow-ups can be on a purrson.

I hope the botox will help you to see better. I cannot imagine how disorienting it must be to see that way!

I am crossing my paws that all is fine with the results on your scan.
