(Sort of) Toesday

This happened (in spite of Pinky's wonderful repair job):

I guess they had simply gone past their use by date. They were about eighteen months old and originally cost approximately £40 (not too sure as they were a present). They kept falling off and tripping me up but I won't inflict upon you pictures of my injuries on this occasion, you'll be glad to know! *

So...

A visit to Marks & Sparks:

They're not quite the Black Cat style (what style, who am I kidding?!) but they're very comfy and if they last half as long as the others I shall be happy. Cost? £10!

In other news:

1. Due to Life, the Universe and Everything I didn't manage to get to Karl and Ruis's wedding, which I had been really looking forward to. I'd even picked out an outfit and nearly got it altered to fit. I'm sure they had a fantastic time though and are enjoying their honeymoon.

2. I'm even more behind in reading blogs and commenting.

3. On the evening of my last posting Doctor Who wasn't on and The Eurovision Song Contest was rubbish!

4. I'm to have another scan and some sort of botox injected into my left eye to see if they can get to the bottom of my cross-eyediness.

5. I may be going to America for a few weeks! Yay! My cousin wants to go and has asked me if I would like to go with her. I'm still thinking about it because, mainly, of #4 above but I really hope I can manage it. She is a college lecturer so it has to be during the summer vacation.

Bye for now. Hope to catch up with you soon:) xxx

* This is an update as I suddenly noticed that this paragraph (or one like it) was missing - not sure why or how. I wonder if Blogger ate it or I deleted it by mistake. Anyway, it made the next paragraph seem a little strange by mentioning the price of the new slippers when there was no price mentioned for the previous pair by way of comparison!

Well if you come to the states, think of all the cats you can visit!

I hope that the injection works for you.
