HALP!!! A Monster Tried to Eat my Head!

This is what happened on Wednesday:

YIKES!!! A monster tried to eat mine head! Fortunately it decided it was too tough and spat it out!

In other news, my laptop went wrong and wouldn't access my network or the internet, which was very inconvenient because my screen for my desktop computer keeps going on the blink so I use the laptop more for reading blogs and posting my own. Hence once again I'm all behind. ::Sigh:: But Pinky came to the rescue and fixed it without torturing it, yay! He is my Hero! Strangely it seemed to have lost some files overnight. How does that happen, I wonder? I hadn't deleted anything. Sometimees I wonder whether the scary noises I hear in the night when I can't sleep are mischievous beings messing with my stuff! Oh noes, I've asceered myself now!

In earlier other news, it was my birthday on Saturday and my family took me and Pinky out for a fab lunch. I was going to blog about it on Sunday but I was so upset by darling Stormie's passing that I hadn't the heart for it. However, it was a "milestone" birthday so I feel it needs a bit of a mention. Besides which, a good time was had by all!

My Uncle K had battered whitebait for his starter - or should I say, whitebait in batter, no abuse of whitebait having been carried out following their demise! Oh, actually it was breaded whitebait, I now see, having looked again at the picture of the day's specials. I took a photo of it but it's so out of focus I'm ashamed to blog it! I'm not sure what my Uncle had for his main course or what my cousin H and her husband had, which is strange because H was sitting right next to me! I think it was pork. For some reason I neglected to photo it, or the delicious champagne which we started with!

I haven't included pictures of family members as none of them can be bothered with blogs (and don't read mine, just as well!) and wouldn't want their faces displayed for anyone to see on the internet!
