Sleep Meme

Karen Jo tagged me for this meme, which originated with Mimi Lenox of Blog Blast for Peace fame, also known as the Queen of Memes.

1. How long do you sleep each night?
About naught to eleven h
ours.

2. Do you fall asleep easily?

Usually, unless I’m worried about stuff.

3. Do you fall asleep at times not in your bed?
Yes. I will fall asleep on my sofa watching T
V or even sitting at the computer most nights.

4. Do you listen to music or u
se white noise to sleep?
I have to have the radio on.

5. Do you sleep through the night or get up a couple of times?
I generally sleep through the night. Sometimes I get up once.

6. Do you have trouble sleeping away from your own bed?
Yes. It takes me a long time to get to sl
eep in a strange bed and sometimes I only sleep fitfully or not at all.

7. Do you need an alarm clock to get you up?
Yes, if I have to get up, otherwise I sleep... and sleep... and sleep...

8. Do you ever take medication to help you sleep?
Not often, though it has been known.

9. Do you/have you slept with pets?
The cats who owned me usually slept with me. If for some reason they didn’t I would investigate. There was usually some mischief apaw, like an intruding moth or spider who needed dealing with (though Ollie wouldn’t deal with spiders after he got bitten on the nose by one, though that’s another story… He wasn’t poisoned, BTW, it was just a common or garden huge Briti
sh spider, not a banana tarantula import!)

'Night 'night all, have a great weekend!

I will tag Mickey, Georgia and Tillie, Andrée, Chica and Pumuckl

:) xxx

That picture of you asleep with your "medicine" is too funny! It is a strange coincidence, but my Mommie takes that medication sometimes, too.

Very good meme! Our Mum likes to fall asleep to the World Service!

We think you should do lots of sleeping after that tiring last Monday!

We try our very best to ensure that our Mommy gets absolutely no sleep at all, but sometimes she gets in a few hours while we are having our own naps.

Aww this is nice. The cats who own me too always dominate my bed. And if I am with hubby and they can't enter the room, they stay by the door and purr to express their anger.

Nice picture. have you seen all youtr test results. I hope you have a very clean slate

Lovely meme BC!

Now I don't want to be pedantic but I'm trying to get my head around the two photos. I don't think I've time warped but isn't one of the photos reversed?

Haz any other Catz noticed this or is it off to the vets (shush) for a sight test?

Oh you are right. One is reversed! Too much medicine I think ha ha!

Hahaha! Anonymous (Pinky?!) and Babs, you're both right! I don't quite know how I managed it, but I think not only is it reversed, but I've made it portrait when it should be landscape! I intend to rectify this. Duhr, what am I like!?! xxx

I love the answer "naught to eleven hours". I like your medicine, too.

I thought it was the photographers fault (Pinky)??? :)

Question from the 'learner'. What does meme stand for/mean?

I'm not exactly sure GG; it may derive from something like, "This is all about Me, Me, nobody else but ME!" but anyhoo, it usually involves answering a challenge another blogger (or even a non-blogger, heh heh!) invites you to do and is usually lots of fun. You don't have to play if you don't want to. This was particularly appropriate for me coz I can't seem to stay awake (even without the medicine!) lol!

Pinky was indeed the photographer (and the planter of the "medicine" bottle) but I can't blame him for reversing the picture... unfortunately, haha! :) xxx

I really should find a person like you who's happy to sleep with her cats... I guess Mummy is as the Abys always sleep with her and Daddy, but when I try it there are bad words used like "Tigs for the 98th time stop snoring it's 3am and I really need to sleep!" I really don't know what they're problems are, but I sleep very well on their bed... ;)

Looks like you are sound asleep there. Of course you've got a very potent medicine right there with you ;)

I have trouble sleeping at new places too. I'm also very disturbed by the clocks that keep ticking. I always use digital watches! Anyways hope all is well. Take care :)
